who we are
create digital is a small business advisory service based in cambridge, new zealand. this statement explains how we handle personal information under the privacy act 2020.
what we collect
when you use the form on our website we collect what you type in: your name, your email address or mobile number, what's slowing your business down, and any day and time you'd like to meet. our web host also keeps short-lived technical logs (such as your ip address) to keep the site secure and working.
why we collect it
we use your details only to reply to you, arrange your free discovery session, and follow up on that conversation. we don't sell your information, add you to marketing lists without asking, or use it for anything unrelated.
where it's stored
your enquiry is sent to our email (google workspace) and processed by our website host (google cloud). these providers may store information on servers outside new zealand, and they're required to protect it.
how long we keep it
we keep enquiries for as long as we need them to work with you, and delete them within 24 months if we don't end up working together. hosting logs are deleted automatically within 30 days.
your rights
you can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. email jonathan@createdigital.co.nz and we'll respond within 20 working days.
if you're not happy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the office of the privacy commissioner.
